This is a ready-to-use, story-based German lesson for A1–A2 learners on the topic “At the Post Office / In the Post Office.” The lesson is built around one continuous story about a mysterious parcel. Learners move through all stages of the story: they receive a parcel notification, prepare for a visit to the post office, learn topic-related vocabulary, practise useful phrases, watch a video, build dialogues, deal with a problem, and finally open the parcel.
The lesson combines vocabulary, speaking, listening, reading, grammar, and role-play. A special focus is placed on the modal verbs möchten, können, and müssen in a practical communicative context.
The material includes:
- vocabulary related to the post office, letters, and parcels;
- speaking tasks and useful phrases;
- dialogues between a customer and a postal worker;
