Multilingualism – Yes or No? is a ready-to-use speaking lesson for B1+/B2 learners on multilingualism, foreign language learning, and early language development in children.
The lesson is designed to help students speak as much as possible, justify their opinions, react to different viewpoints, and actively use new vocabulary in conversation.
The material includes:
- topic-based vocabulary with active practice;
- questions for pair and group work;
- spontaneous speaking tasks;
- a “Myth or Truth?” section about multilingualism in children;
- a discussion on the advantages and disadvantages of multilingual upbringing;
- quotes and provocative statements for discussion;
